My test email subject line is showing scrambled with random characters in there. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Often this can happen when copying and pasting from an external document into gCast.

Copying and pasting from an external source such as Microsoft Word can bring in hidden formatting code which is incompatible with html and/or email, resulting in some email clients showing the content and/or the subject line scrambled or with odd characters and symbols inserted into it.

We recommend copying and pasting your text into a program such as Notepad which will strip out the hidden formatting code. Alternatively, simply type your subject line directly into gCast.
